Our client are an expanding mortgage brokerage dealing mainly with High net worth clients. Based near London Bridge, they are now looking for an experienced protection paraplanner to join their team.

Candidates will need to be have a track record in dealing with insurances such as Life, Critical Illness and Income protection

Basic duties will include:

Client Support:

  • Collaborate with the Advisors to gather necessary client information and assist in developing tailored protection solutions.
  • Prepare and organise client meetings, ensuring all required documentation is available and up to date.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on application progress.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Prepare and review client application forms, policy illustrations, and other relevant documents.
  • Ensure all client documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.

Product Knowledge:

  • Must be familiar with protection policies (life insurance, critical illness and income protection) with a willingness to broaden product knowledge further, if not already au fait with business protection and gift inter vivos policies.
  • Be diligent about staying up to date with changes within the market.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with insurance providers and underwriters.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to expedite application processing, address underwriting queries, and resolve issues.

Data Management:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, recommendations, and application status.
  • Utilise CRM and other software tools effectively to manage client information and tasks.
  • Working closely with internal teams to provide necessary updates and reporting

You’ll need to be a clear communicator and comfortable dealing with a wide range of people. In addition, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of protection products. Most important is the ability to be a good team player.

The salary range is up to £35,000
